Still They Echo
Weaving the living heritage of Southeast Asia’s craft cultures into the homes and rhythms of contemporary life — with humility, transparency, and reverence for the hand and the earth.
Still They Echo exists to reimagine how objects arrive in our homes: as carriers of story, lineage, and care.
We are a slow-growing homewares initiative based in Singapore, rooted in Southeast Asia, and created in partnership with artisan communities.
Our vision is to honour ancestral craft, ecology, and the textures of daily rhythms — companions for the quiet rituals of daily life.
We believe the ordinary gestures of life — eating, resting, gathering — are worthy of reverence. Each offering is created not as a product of trend, but as part of a living ecology: relational, grounded in place, and made to endure.
Through trusted community organisations, we collaborate in ways that are fair, transparent, and guided by local rhythms.
Our vision is simple: to help objects enter homes as echoes of culture, ecology, and craft — to be used, cherished, and passed on.
Our Offerings.
The Evergreen Collection
Our foundation and first offering. A core set of objects, always available, rooted in daily rituals and crafted with artisan partners in Laos, Thailand, Myanmar and Indonesia.
Looking Ahead
Over time, Still They Echo will also grow through:
Seasonal Ecologies — limited collections, each grounded in a specific place or local region.
Field Offerings — small-batch arrivals that appear when ready, never the same twice.
What Guides Us.
Grounded in place
Each offering is shaped by both ecology and community.
Partnership over extraction
We collaborate through trusted organisations already walking alongside artisans, respecting cultural continuity and self-determination.
Rhythms of care
Our process follows ecological and cultural timeframes, and values the stories underpinning them.
Invitation
Still They Echo is at the beginning of its journey. We are currently developing our first Evergreen Collection in close collaboration with artisan communities in Southeast Asia.
At this stage, we are seeking to connect with:
Community organisations and artisan partners who share our commitment to cultural continuity and fair collaboration.
Wholesale partners who believe in thoughtful, place-rooted homewares that honour story and skill.
Design consultants and collaborators who can help refine and shape the expression of this vision.
…and anyone with the vision of creating offerings that carry forward cultural memory, celebrate material heritage, and offer lasting meaning to those who live with them.
